So one of my regular podcasts Leo Laport The Tech Guy 1531 had a segment about a users’ laptop battery. It’s a question I hear a lot from friends and family and Leo taught me a new trick where you go on a Windows 10 PC to the Command Line (Press Windows and R Keys or type cmd on the windows start menu) and type powercfg /batteryreport it will generate a report for you detailing a lot of notes about the battery that can help in diagnosing problems.
